The reality star is saying goodbye to the Bravo show after eight seasons. Lisa Rinna, a longtime member of the cast of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” announced her departure from the program on January 5. Bravo confirmed this to TODAY.com.
After eight seasons of the reality show, the 59-year-old reality star is “eager” for the next phase of her career.

Rinna stated in a statement to TODAY.com, “This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career, and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series.” “The past eight years have been enjoyable, and I’m looking forward to the future.”

In addition, TODAY.com reported that Rinna and Bravo had talked and agreed she would not be returning to “RHOBH” because her contract expired at the conclusion of Season 12 and she had time to consider her alternatives and professional commitments.

Since 2014, Rinna has been on the program. She disclosed that she had initially auditioned but been rejected in Dave Quinn’s 2021 book “Not All Diamonds and Rosé.”

Lisa Rinna having appeared on so many reality series that Andy Cohen, the show’s executive producer and a Bravo personality, said in the book, “It just sounded like a farce to me.” “It had to be about actual ladies for me. I didn’t believe we needed an actress, and I didn’t believe any of them needed to be well-known.

The television shows “Days of Our Lives” and “Melrose Place” are where Rinna is most recognized for her acting work as Billie Reed and Taylor McBride, respectively.

In the last season of “RHOBH,” Rinna squared off against Kathy Hilton, accusing her of disparaging Kyle Richards and her family. This led to a dramatic altercation while the cast was on a trip to Aspen, Colorado.

During the season 12 reunion, Andy Cohen called Rinna out for her online behavior and the other housewives learned that Rinna, not Erika Jayne as previously thought, was the one who threw away Garcelle Beauvais’ biography “Love Me As I Am.”

After the Season 12 reunion, “RHOBH” star Denise Richards also criticized Rinna, posting on Instagram, “I watched #RHOBH last night. Although I feel for Lisa Rinna since she lost her mother, what is her justification for being so vile and vengeful during the rest of the show’s run?

Lois Rinna, Rinna’s mother, passed away in November 2021 at the age of 93.

She shared a “RHOBH” scene with Richards and wrote the following caption: “She plainly needs attention, let’s give it to her.” Rinna appeared to be responding to her co-star.

Rinna, who was also jeered at BravoCon in October 2022, continued by telling the network that she handled the criticism well.

She reported, “I got booed.” “I simply left and was booed. It was just fantastic. I turned them off after that.

She remarked, “I felt like a WWE wrestler. “I’ve worked in this industry for 32 years, and I’ve never faced jeers. I thought, “Oh my God, I’ve done it.”

Lisa Vanderpump, Rinna’s former co-star, appeared to diss her on Twitter after the news of her leaving surfaced on Jan. 5 by tweeting the phrase “Ding dong.”
