Louis Cole, a YouTube sensation, makes between $1000 and $20,000 each month by uploading videos to his channel, FunForLouis. His YouTube channel has 282 million views and 1.9 million subscribers. Caspar Lee ($5 million), PewDiePie ($12 million), and Dude Perfect ($5 million) are among his YouTube opponents with millions in net worth. Cole’s net worth is likewise reported to be in the millions of dollars.

He created a Kickstarter effort in 2017 to raise money for a documentary called Beyond Borders – A Film Celebrating Unity. He set a goal of £100,000, but 1,666 people contributed £111,563, bringing the total to £111,563. Cole has teamed with a number of well-known brands around the world, including Land Rover, Sony, and others. In early 2016, he paid a punishment of NZD$400 for breaking traffic laws.

Early Years and Professional Career

Louis John Cole was born on April 28, 1983, in Epsom, Surrey, England. He is of Caucasian ancestry and possesses British citizenship. Cole’s father was a teacher and his mother was an IT trainer. Hilary and Darcy are his two sisters. On December 31, 2012, Cole launched his vlog, FunForLouis, with the video “Pancakes and Bicycles | LA Trip Day 2.”

He has over 1.92 million subscribers and has produced over 1486 vlogs as of October 2017. Live The Adventure, often known as LTA, is his own social media travel management company. The LTA employs seven people in two offices in London and Capetown. The first LTA travel summit was held in January 2017 at the YHA Hostel in South Downs, UK. Sony, a well-known camera company, held a photography seminar during the summit.

Other initiatives

Cole is involved in a variety of ventures in addition to his daily vlogs. Cole founded Find The Nomads, a clothing brand, in May 2014, however it was closed in 2016. Also Cole has also started a project called Bombus, which entails a double-decker bus with a mobile center that provides homeless adolescents with music and video game facilities.

Beyond the Boundaries

In March 2017, Cole inked a deal with Digital Seeker Network and launched his “Beyond Borders – A Journey Celebrating Global Diversity” campaign.

He began his voyage on August 21, 2017, in Kern Valley, California, alongside his friend and pilot Juan-Peter Schulze (JP) over a span of 60–90 days. Cole later revealed on YouTube that he is launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for his documentary about flying across the world.

Solvey

Cole created The Solvey Project in 2016 with his good buddy and YouTuber Dave Erasmus, who is also a philanthropist. They visited Addis Ababa, Dubai, New Delhi, Shanghai, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, and Reykjavik, among other cities. PM Sigmundur Dav Gunnlaugsson canceled a meeting on their Iceland tour at the last minute.

Controversy

Louis Cole is also well-known for being a divisive social media presence. After publishing a video showing him eating live goldfish on his YouTube channel, FoodForLouis, in 2012, he was charged with the Animal Welfare Act 2006. The lawsuit was eventually settled, and he was given a warning not to repeat his actions.

Even death threats were received to him by some animal lovers. Cole, on the other hand, believes that his films aren’t as heinous as they’ve been made out to be, and that the goldfish-eating act caused unnecessary agony. He also advises the RSPCA not to waste time with the matter.

He was arrested at Heathrow Airport when returning to the UK the following year due to an arrest order filed against him. On his vlog, ‘I Got Arrested | Louis Cole Daily Vlogs 77,’ he discussed it. In 2016, he was pulled over for exceeding the speed limit by 41 kilometers per hour. Instead of losing his license, he was fined NZD$400 for speeding at 141 km/h. In New Zealand, the news made national headlines.

Cole was chastised for his trip to North Korea in the same year. He was suspected of supporting the North Korean regime, although he refuted the regime’s philosophy.
