She is well known in New Zealand for being one-half of the musical comedy duet known as the Topp Twins, which also includes her twin sister Jools Topp. Alongside her sister, she has performed live comedy and music shows, as well as on television and in movies, for decades.

Both had previously enlisted in the New Zealand Territorial Force and spent six weeks stationed at the Burnham Military Camp outside of Christchurch.
