He produced his drum instructional films demonstrating his techniques in 1998. He returned in 1999 to join ‘The Cult.’

Sorum, together with Slash and McKagan, founded Velvet Revolver in 1999. In 2004, they published their debut album, “Contraband.” They then embarked on a worldwide tour.
