Career in Details

Monique Marvez, a Latin beauty, has been a fixture in the world of comedy for decades. Mrs. Do it all can host shows, perform stand-up comedy, host radio shows, act, and apparently do everything that the average person cannot.

With over a decade in the industry, there are obviously fewer things that the multi-talented woman cannot do. Not to mention, she has worked with a number of A-list Hollywood celebrities, including John Gray, as well as top-tier shows for HBO, ABC, Comedy Central, and others.

Marvez has also traveled across the country to make her audience laugh with her unique brand of humor. She has toured in many places, including Florida, Louisville, and Los Angeles, which has helped her gain more fans all over the world.

Marvez went through three failed marriages

Monique Marvez had three marriages. Unfortunately, all three of her marriages did not last. Monique, on the other hand, keeps her personal life close to her vest. However, Marvez’s most well-known marital relationship is with her ex-husband, former Navy Seal David Cosby.

In fact, her first husband was her childhood sweetheart, with whom she went to high school. Marvez’s parents, who married twice, also fell in love at school. And, when asked what her divorce taught her, Marvez once said in an interview:

“What I’ve learned about marriage is that the moment you believe you can’t do something, you want to do it more than you want to live. As a result, I believe that the institution of marriage fosters a certain level of rebellion in people. It turns into a list of obligations and “Honey-do” lists. Before you know it, you’re on a path where life becomes a series of events that you simply check off. We have children, so that’s a given. They are baptized — done. They have birthday parties, so that’s a given. We have annual vacations — check. I’m not saying it’s incorrect. Some people require that level of security. Some people require a clear understanding of what is expected of them. I am not one of those individuals.”

Marvez has not remarried and has only dated since her third divorce. And, much to her liking, she has been discovered to be dating younger men.
