On June 13, shortly after midnight, her body was discovered. She was in a pool of blood, lying in the fetal position.

Brown had been stabbed seven times in the neck and scalp, and she had a 14 cm (5.5 inch) gash across her throat, which had severed both her left and right carotid arteries and breached both her right and left jugular veins, according to an autopsy.

Furthermore, Brown’s funeral was held on June 16 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Brentwood, with mourners including Simpson and their children, Brown’s family, Al Cowlings, houseguest Kato Kaelin, and Steve Garvey. Brown was laid to rest in Lake Forest, California’s Ascension Cemetery.
