The post was not well received on his social media, and it’s safe to assume he didn’t gain many followers as a result of it. Rather, many fans accused Paul and Noel of being homophobic.
“mmm..homophobia,” one tweet said, while another said, “I like you @noelfielding11, but you’ve got some growing up to do.” This is something I’d anticipate from Paul (not that it’s a bad thing), but not from you.”
“Gay sex isn’t there for your cheap & dirty humor,” another person said. Please reconsider your stance. I’ve reacted more patiently than most.”
Noel, on the other hand, has subsequently stated that he is not homophobic and instead supports all LGBTQ causes.

An interview with The Guardian in 2008 revealed that Noel truly supports all LGBT concerns, with him referring to gay individuals as “superman.”

Noel and his wife, Lliana, are expecting their second child on October 29, 2020. The radio host announced the happy news on Instagram, posting a photo of four handcrafted spiders, one for each family member.
Lliana also disclosed to her admirers that their second kid was a female, naming her Iggy.
Lliana responded to a fan’s question on which spider symbolized which family member, saying Noel is pink, Dali is orange, and Iggy is red.
The host announced in August that she was pregnant and will be taking maternity leave from Radio X.
