Results and highlights from UFC 282: Paddy Pimblett defeats Jared Gordon in a grappling-heavy battle.
Pimblett’s UFC undefeated streak continues with a somewhat controversial decision on Saturday night.
The UFC record of Paddy Pimblett is now stands at 4-0. Pimblett defeated experienced Octagon veteran Jared Gordon in the co-main event of UFC 282 on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Gordon made Pimblett pay for his tendency to keep his chin up early and often. Gordon uncorked a series of hard left hooks that drew Pimblett’s iron chin like a magnet. Despite the fact that two judges scored Round 1 in Pimblett’s favor, he generally appeared to land the less impactful strikes. The competition increased in the second stanza. Both players had their moments, and despite landing hard shots, neither was seriously injured. In a toss-up, Pimblett landed slightly more significant and total strikes.

Despite strong contenders earlier in the evening, Pimblett told UFC commentator Joe Rogan post-fight that the pair deserved Fight of the Night. Paddy Pimblett also revealed that he injured his foot early in the fight and wanted to collaborate with Gordon on charitable efforts.
Paddy Pimblett improved to 20-3 in his professional career and 4-0 in the UFC with three knockouts. Gordon fell to 19-6 overall, with wins and losses in his last four fights.
