Amid playing football and creation a name for himself in the game, Peter expended the time of his existence as a salesman.  Likewise, he used to drive a corporation car to industrial plantations. Bosz’s main job was to convince the industry people to buy fuel cards for their staff as that would be more profitable.

Subsequently, after a loan season with amateurs, AGOVV Apeldoorn in 1984 made him joined another club RKC Waalwijk. Pretty predictably, he wasn’t very good at the sales job. The reason was that Football has always been his thing and selling products wasn’t. Fortunately, his talent regarding football was enough for him never to go and join sales again.

Professional Playing Career

As a professional player, Bosz got chances at some of the country’s most respected clubs, and he kept changing many clubs. Peter, as a little boy, always had a fixed mentality and, it was winning. For him losing was never an option. Bosz used to stay away from his teammates after the game turned to defeat. It might be a piece of uplifting news that he even used to refuse to shower after the drill only to practice alone after a loss.

Moreover, Bosz made his international debut by playing in Netherlands national team in the Euro Qualification match held against Greece. Sadly, he didn’t score any goal. Peter played six seasons with Dutch giants Feyenoord and successively went for Japanese club JEF United Ichihara.

 Journey as a Coach

Bosz’s tutoring profession started through a short-lived spell at AGOVV. He also won the incompetent contest, afore moving to De Graafschap, which became his first professional club. Downgrading to the second division was not the perfect start for Peter.  He thought of changing the club, and in 2004, he established himself at Heracles Almelo. At Heracles, Peter was capable enough to establish his coaching philosophy as he wanted without any pressure.

Even the player found it very safe and sound to express themselves under the influence of Peter. Other coaches praised his intelligence, and players were smitten and reinforced by his vision. It wasn’t limited to words but also showed results when the club finished at the respectable 13th place.  It happened in his primary season at the club; Bosz headed them towards advancement to the Eredivisie.

After that, he went with Borussia Dortmund and is currently working for Bayer Leverkusen. After it fell to sixth place, the team fired him in March 2021, seven points to the undeviating UEFA Champions League criterion.

He gave him midfield position, utilizing Schone’s method to boost Ajax’s build-up play.
