In the same year that they met for the first time, 1975, they walked down the aisle. They later discovered the bundle of delights after welcoming three children into their lives: Travis Lee Roberts, Joseph James Roberts, and James Preston.
On the banks of the East Fork River, the Roberts family lived in a modest log cabin apartment. They moved to a historic church house at Stone Mountain State Park in North Carolina a few years later. They have since relocated to Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Preston Roberts’ Death
Preston Roberts died on July 24, 2017, at the age of 60, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. His death was caused by cancer-related liver failure, according to his medical records. Frank Bank, the actor who played Beaver on Leave It To Beaver, died of cancer as well.
