Mornay played Slugger’s Wife and co-starred in The Trip to Bountiful and Runaway Train in 1985, both of which received Academy Award nominations.
Mornay appeared in a music video for the song ‘Sara’ with Starship’s Mickey Thomas the same year. On March 15, 1986, the song topped the Billboard charts. The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, Mornay’s most successful film, was released in 1992.
