Rebecca and her husband, Isabel, have known each other since they were in high school. They met for the first time at the University of Chicago. Their love life, however, did not begin there. It all started when Matthew asked to go on a date with them while they were both working at Bank of America in July 2004.

Finally, on January 28, 2012, they legalized their relationship and tied the knot. On a Saturday evening, their wedding ceremony took place at the McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis. They began to live a happy married life after that.
