Kirkham then landed a job on Inside Edition after finishing college, where he had the opportunity to interview Chuck Norris, James Brown, and even former President George Bush. According to Men’s Health, Kirkham interviewed Bush while he was under the influence of alcohol. He was in fact high.
However, his career took a turn for the worse after he became involved with drugs. After backing down, Kirkham went on to work with Joe Exotic on his reality TV show, which featured his personal life and zoo. Kirkham worked as a director and producer.
However, as viewers watched the show, all of his work was destroyed by fire after the studio was destroyed. He even sobbed about how much of his retirement was invested in those tapes.

Rick Kirkham now lives in Norway, where he married and began a new life with his new wife. A few months after Tiger King was canceled by Netflix, the platform interviewed all of the cast members, including Kirkham, who revealed he moved to Norway and met his significant other there.
This is Kirkham’s second marriage, which he shared with his wife, Norwegian photographer Kristin Rosy. The couple has no children, but they do share two dogs.
Kirkham previously married a woman named Tammie, with whom he has a son. His first marriage, however, did not work out due to his drug addiction.

Rick Kirkham has publicly admitted to being addicted to strong drugs such as cocaine, which allegedly destroyed his teeth. His drug addiction became so severe at one point that he was sent to rehab by his wife and Inside Edition, where he previously worked.
Kirkham’s addiction couldn’t be eradicated as he struggled to overcome it. As a result, not only was he fired by Inside Edition, but Kirkham’s wife, Tammie, was also fired with their son. Later, his wife filed for divorce.
Rick, on the other hand, was able to overcome his drug addiction issues before releasing a documentary called TV Junkie, which was shot while he was high. Kirkham has publicly advocated for drug awareness among youths and children since achieving sobriety.
Needless to say, he regained his life. Not to mention, he appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s show in 2007 and discussed his drug addiction.
