Mann began his professional wrestling career in 2003 as Ricochet in chaos wrestling. Following that, he began to wrestle in independent wrestling events such as Japan Dragon Gate (DG) Promotion, Power, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Ricochet defeated Chrisjen Hayme in the first round of the 5th Young Lion Cup Tournament while working for Chikara Promotions.

Ricochet competed in an extreme warfare event at the Independent Wrestling Federation MidSouth for the vacant Deep South Heavyweight Championship with Chuck Taylor, Jeff Jameson, Brian Sterling, and Cabana Mandan as another pentathlon eliminator won by Cabana Mandan.

When I competed in my first major championship. From 2010 to 2017, Ricochet was a member of Evolve and Dragon Gate USA, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (2010-2018), Dragon Gate (2010-2015, 2017), New Japan ProWrestling (2013-2017), and Lucha Underground (2014).

Then, in 2018, he joined World Wrestling Entertainment, competed in the NXT development area, and was crowned NXT North American Champion. Ricochet made the main roster in 2019 and appeared on Raw and SmackDown Live.
