Professional Career
Boiman was a linebacker who was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft.
He was a standout on special teams in his early years, setting the Oilers/Titans franchise record for special teams tackles with 28. He was also named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Boiman’s role as a linebacker was expanded during his second and third seasons with the Titans. In the end, he received one AFC Defensive Player of the Week award.
Similarly, in 16 games for the Titans in 2003, he had 55 tackles, 18 assists, two interceptions, 1.5 sacks, one touchdown, and one safety. In 2005, he had 15 special teams tackles.
The Dallas Cowboys signed him as a free agent in 2006 to add depth at linebacker and on special teams. After a few months, he also signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
In every game, he had 16 tackles, five assists, and one interception. Although the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLII.
He re-signed with the Colts in 2007 and played in every game, recording 34 tackles, 21 assists, and two interceptions.

A year later, he was signed as a free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs the same year, where he started nine games and totaled 51 tackles and 17 assists.
In 2009, he signed as a free agent with the Tennessee Titans. He finished his eight year career with the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers.. The following year, he was signed as a free agent by the Detroit Lions.
