Ryan made his professional debut on October 11, 2010, and scored his first NHL goal against the Ducks in January 2011. After that, he joined the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft on June 23, 2017. He later joined the Vegas Golden Knights in February 2018 and scored the game’s most critical goal. The Golden Knights qualified for the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals after Reaves scored the game-winning goal in the series against the Winnipeg Jets. He also scored in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, which the Golden Knights won 6-4. Ryan also signed a two-year contract with the Golden Knights on July 1, 2019.
