Seth Adam Curry, or Seth Curry, was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on August 23, 1990, to Dell and Sonya Curry.
Not to mention, his father, Dell Curry, was a former NBA player from 1986 to 2002. Similarly, Sonya Curry, his mother, is a former Virginia Tech women’s volleyball player.
He grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, where his father, Dell, was a Hornets player. He also has a younger sister, Sydel Curry, and an elder brother, Stephen Curry.
Stephen Curry is the Golden State Warriors’ starting point guard and has won three championships. Sydel attended Elon University where she played volleyball and is married to Warriors guard Damion Lee.

After graduating from high school in 2008, he enrolled at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, USA, where he averaged 20.2 points per game as a freshman.

2013–2014
Moving on to his professional career, Seth attempted to enter the 2013 NBA draft. However, no team drafted him. He signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Golden State Warriors in August 2013.
And, sadly, he was released by the squad on October 25, 2013 after appearing in six preseason games.
Later, he was hired as a legal player by the NBA Development League’s Santa Cruz Warriors, where he started with 36 points, six assists, and three rebounds.
In 2013, he formed a partnership with the ‘Memphis Grizzlies,’ however the relationship did not last long. He was released and returned to the Santa Cruz Warriors.
2014 – 2015
Seth was named to the 2014 ‘NBA D-League All-Star Game Futures All-Star roster. He signed a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 2014 season, but his deal was not extended, and he returned to the Warriors.
In 38 games, he averaged 19.7 points, 5.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and 3.1 rebounds. He joined the ‘D-League’ training camp in late October 2014.
He later played for the ‘BayHawks,’ where he scored 23 points and led his team to a victory over ‘The Idaho Stampede.’ He also played for the ‘Phoenix Suns,’ where he scored 23 points and led his team to a victory over ‘The Minnesota Timberwolves,’ on a ten-day contract.
2015 – 2016
In July 2015, he joined ‘The New Orleans Pelicans,’ where he averaged 24.3 points per game. He later earned a spot on the ‘All-NBA Summer League’ first team.
Seth signed a $2 million contract with the ‘Sacramento Kings,’ where he scored a career-high 42 points against the ‘Portland Trail Blazers,’ and ‘The Miami Heat.’ He also scored 40 points against the ‘Oklahoma City Thunder’ and ‘Phoenix Suns.’
2016 – 2018
Curry signed with the Dallas Mavericks, where he scored the most points of his career against the Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Miami Heat.
Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a left tibia injury and was forced to miss the remainder of the season. Curry later joined the Portland Trail Blazers, where he faced the Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns.
Between 2019 and 2020
On July 10, 2019, he signed a four-year contract extension with the Dallas Mavericks. On November 18, 2020, he was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Josh Richardson.
NBA All-Star 2021
As many of you are aware, Seth Curry was unable to participate in last year’s NBA All-Star game due to a fractured hand. However, he made an appearance this year and, of course, added eye candy to the game.

As with any athlete, Seth Curry has encountered his share of injuries along the way that have kept him out of the game. Curry has suffered with a variety of additional issues since the start of the 2017 season with shin pain.
Among them include discomfort in the left tibia, knee injuries, and damage to the legs. Additionally, he tested positive for COVID-19. Regrettably, he was also battling a sprained ankle.
He was only eight games into his return to the Philadelphia 76ers when he tested positive for Covid-19. However, due to his absence, he struggled to re-enter the lineup.

Curry has always been outspoken in his personal life. He is currently married to Callie Rivers, a former professional volleyball player.
Austin, Callie’s brother, and Seth were teammates in the 2011-12 season. Additionally, there was a story that Austin was originally skeptical about their connection.
Initially, he was unaware that his sister was dating an NBA player. Additionally, NBA players are required to travel extensively; this could become offensive. However, as he discovered the gentleman’s name was Seth, he felt completely at ease.
