Indian sports shooter Avneet Sidhu then denounced the song and accused Moosewala of endorsing the gun culture. A case was brought against him for releasing the music the following day.

Politics

In order to run for the Punjab Legislative Assembly in 2022, Sidhu Moose Wala joined the Congress. However, on December 3, 2021, he lost to Vijay Singla of the Aam Aadmi Party by a margin of 63,323, receiving only 20.52% of the vote in the Mansa constituency. In connection with the 2022 election, Moosewala was charged with violating the election code of conduct under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
