Stefan Horngacher

Stefan Horngacher is an Austrian ski jumping coach and former ski jumper with a wide range of skills. He is most known for earning a bronze medal in the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics in the team big hill. He competed in the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2002, finishing fourth in the team big hill event.

 Stefan earned gold in the 1991 Ski Jumping World Championships team big hill event, then three bronzes in the following 10 years (1993, 1999, and 2001); he also won gold in the 2001 team normal hill event. After retiring from the sport, he became a ski jumping instructor and has coached the Polish national team since 2016. Horngacher has also been the German national team’s coach since 2019, taking over from Werner Schuster.
