Stella Eggleston, a resident of Hot Coffee, Mississippi, was born on October 1, 1938, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, as Estelle Eggleston. Her racial background is Caucasian. She is the only child of insurance salesman Thomas Ellet Eggleston and nurse Dovey Caro Estelle. Stevens went at Highland Street’s St. Annie’s Catholic School and Jefferson Avenue’s Sacred Heart School. She attended the University of Memphis and graduated with honors. When The Memphis Press-Scimitar praised her school play Bus Stop and launched her career, it ignited her passion in acting and modeling.

Stella Caro Stevens has a four-decade career. She made her stage debut as a chorus girl in Bing Crosby’s musical Say One for Me (1950), which he produced and acted in while still under contract with Paramount Pictures. She was notably photographed in Ektachrome and featured in Playboy Magazine’s 100 Sexiest Stars of the 20th Century in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
