Ta-Nehisi Coates is a well-known American author and journalist who is most known for his writings on racism and social injustice. He is also sometimes referred to as the generation’s most important black thinker. His breakout book “Between the World and Me,” which was published in 2015 and has now been translated into 19 languages, has sold 1.5 million copies worldwide.

His debut book was not a commercial success, but it received favorable reviews from critics. “Between World and Me,” his second book, became a smash seller and earned the Kirkus Prize and a National Award for nonfiction. The book is based on the contentious topic of white supremacy in American society and how it is constituted.
