She has been performing since 1997. She began her career as a writer for Ben Stein Money, for whom she received a Daytime Emmy Award in 1997. Following that, she was cast in a minor role and given the opportunity to write for shows such as Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

She also presented an episode of While You Were Out in 2002 and has previously worked as a writer for the show. She became the new host of the radio show The Adam Carolla Show on May 8, 2006. However, when the show was switched to evening in 2010, she left due to a scheduling difficulty. She then presented The Parent Experiment Podcast with Lynette Carolla from February to August 2010 before leaving due to other commitments.

Teresa joined the Peter Tilden Show the same year, and her last appearance on KABC was in August of 2011. She quit the show to pursue television, commercial voiceover, and camera work full-time. In 2019, she started a podcast with Gina to talk about other podcasts. She’s appeared on a variety of TV series, including Game Show Network, Good Day New York, Good Day Live, On-Air With Ryan Seacrest, and others.
