Tom Sizemore’s manager says there is no hope for the actor following a brain aneurysm.

After suffering a brain aneurysm earlier this month, US actor Tom Sizemore’s family is “deciding end-of-life matters,” according to his manager.

Tom Sizemore, 61, is known for his roles in films such as Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, and Natural Born Killer.

He also had drug problems and was incarcerated for domestic violence.

Charles Lago told US media: “Today doctors informed his family that there is no further hope and have recommended end of life decision.”

He added “The family is now deciding end of life matters and a further statement will be issued on Wednesday.

“We are asking for privacy for his family during this difficult time. And they wish to thank everyone for the hundreds of messages of support and prayers that have been received. It’s been a trying time for them.”

Sizemore rose to prominence in the 1990s, appearing alongside Tom Hanks as Sergeant Horvath in the Oscar-winning Saving Private Ryan in 1998.

Pearl Harbor, Heat, and True Romance were among his other films. He was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role as a mobster in the 1999 television film Witness Protection.

With fame and fortune came a heavy drug habit. And he wrote in his autobiography about heroin and crystal meth addictions.

In 1997, he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his wife, Maeve Quinlan, an actress and tennis player. Two years later, they divorced.

In 2003, he was sentenced to six months in prison for assaulting his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss,  She is a former “Hollywood madam,” and was ordered to complete rehab and anger management.

In recent years, he appeared in the Netflix hit Cobra Kai. And had a recurring role in David Lynch’s cult TV show Twin Peaks’ 2017 revival.

On February 18, he suffered a brain aneurysm.
