Tommy Thayer’s band, which he formed with Jaime St. James and called Black’ n Blue, was formed in November 1981. They began by performing in Portland. Then, in the beginning of 1983, they went to Southern California. In Heat, Nasty Nasty, Without Love, and Black’ N Blue are just a few of the band’s releases. The crew stayed together until late 1988. Following Black’ n Blue, Thayer collaborated with Jimmy Barnes on For the Working Class Man, the latter’s album. Jimmy Barnes was the title of the record in markets outside of Australia, and he participated in two sessions. Mick Fleetwood and Billy Burnette, as drummer and guitarist, respectively, were also part of the show.
