Tony Little’s Brief Bio:
Tony Little was born in Fremont, Ohio on September 16, 1956, and is now 59 years old. He is a certified personal trainer who is known as “America’s Personal Trainer” by the majority of the population. He currently has 14 Platinum video awards, 9 Gold video awards, and a record-breaking infomercial in 81 countries.
Everything happened in 1983. Tony was already a well-known Junior National Bodybuilding Champion at the time, and he was on his way to capturing the Mr. America Bodybuilding Championship. While he was preparing for it, a cataclysmic event occurred in his life in the form of an accident.
He was only six months away from his competition when he was hit by a school bus, and the accident was nearly fatal, but Tony survived. However, the accident left him with several lacerations on his body and face, as well as cracked vertebrae and a dislocated knee. Not only that, but he also had two herniated discs and general aches and pains throughout his body.
Despite all of the injuries to his body, he competed in the event and finished in fifth place. Tony would have won without a doubt if the accident hadn’t occurred, but finishing fifth was still a proud moment for him.
However, the accident began to have an effect on him. Tony began to feel as if his once-cherished goals had lost their soul. He had nothing but painkillers and a dim and dying image of himself. On top of everything else, he gained 60 pounds.
Tony decided to rebuild himself in February 1985, after noticing his inner self fading with self-pity over his miserable life. He began by being both physically and emotionally strong. He devised a motivating non-impact resistance exercise program that puts little strain on the joints. His perseverance began to pay off gradually, and he considered moving to television, where he could have a one-on-one approach. That’s how it all started: a man shattered on the inside, teaching the entire world and motivating everyone to stay healthy.
