Vlachos returned as a contestant in Survivor: Game Changers after winning the 28th season of Survivor: Cagayan.

Aside from him, previous Survivor: Pearl Islands and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains winner J.T. Thomas and Survivor: Tocantins winner Sandra Diaz-Twine competed in that season as a contestant.

Because they had already won the previous season, they were the other contestant’s first target. Despite the fact that Vlachos provided stiff competition to all of the survivors, he was one of the first to be voted out that season.

Vlachos, a two-time Survivor winner, was infected with the parasite while filming Survivor: Cagayan. He found out about that after he returned to his nation, the United States.

He was gravely affected by the parasite, and he had to stay in bed for the following three months. Moreover, he lost 25 pounds of weight due to the virus.

Vlachos In Survivor: Winners at War

Vlachos gained featured as a contestant in Survivor: Winner at War. The season was all on the competition between all prior winners of Survivor.

At initially, Vlachos made a low profile since he didn’t want to repeat the same error that he did in the previous season. He laid low in that season. He was placed under the Dakar tribe throughout that season.

After some time, he forged a Cops-R-U partnership with the former police officer and fellow participant from Cagayan, Sarah Lacina.

After winning multiple challenges and being protected from being voted out, he became one of the finalists along with Survivor of Survivor: San Juan del Sur winner Natalie Anderson and Survivor of Survivor: Kaôh Rōng winner Michele Fitzgerald.

At the Final Tribal Council, he earned 12 of of 16 Jury votes, thereby becoming the two-time Sole Survivor.
