Following his departure from Southampton in 1981, Wayne Pratt spent two seasons at Waterlooville, a season at Gosport Borough, and two years at Andover. In October 1982, he had a trial with Reading after temporarily playing for Swedish club Mein Munkfors.
The midfielder made his debut with Road-Sea Southampton in their penultimate season before they were abolished in 1987.
