Dylan Lyons’ Murderer Keith Melvin Moses arrested by Police
They were both working on a report about a homicide investigation in Pine Hills. He was covering the story of Nathacha Augustin, 38, who had been shot and killed earlier in the day. However, Keith Melvin Moses, the man now suspected of killing Dylan and a previous shooting, returned to the crime scene.
He returned with bad intentions and killed Dylan Lyons. He also injured Spectrum News 13 photographer Jesse Walden. T’yonna Major, a 9-year-old girl, and her mother were killed along the way.
Jesse Walden was hospitalized following the gunshot, but Dylan had left the world. However, the suspect, Keith Melvin Moses, was later apprehended by police. Lyons’ sister later set up a GoFundMe page to assist her family in arranging funds for Dylan’s funeral.

Dylan Lyons was the passionate child of his parents, born in Philadelphia but raised in Central Florida. He was going to celebrate his 25th birthday on March 11, 2023. He never imagined himself being killed in a fatal gun shooting as a child, and he pursued his studies to become a journalist with zeal.
Dylan Lyons finished high school at one of the best schools, Dreyfoos School of the Arts. However, in high school, he honed his skills by acting in plays and communicating fluently with others. He was involved in school sports, acting, and other activities.
From 2012 to 2016, he also worked for his school newspaper, DSOA Today. Even before his death, he was working as an Executive Producer, Talent Manager, and Director for DSOA Today.
He was elected to the National English Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars as a result of his efforts.
He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Political Science and Journalism in 2019. Also he was a proud UCF student who was involved in numerous societies and activities.
