Willie Nelson, ZZ Top to play 2 Central Texas shows next year

Texas’ NEW BRAUNFELS (KXAN) – The legendary musicians ZZ Top and Willie Nelson will perform in Central Texas over the course of two nights next year.

The Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels will host the performances on April 14 and 15.

General admission standing tickets are currently available for $75. Tickets ordered will be sent 72 hours prior to the performance. Tickets for Friday and Saturday nights can be purchased online.

For the Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. concerts, doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Prior to his visit to New Braunfels, Willie Nelson will perform in venues in Hawaii, Florida, and Abilene, Texas. This year, the Texas native published his 17th album.

Following Willie Nelson’s  performances in New Braunfels, the Houston-based rock group ZZ Top will make numerous other stops on their national tour. Long-haired bassist Dusty Hill passed away in July 2021 at the age of 72.
