Career

Brennan started his extensive career with the CIA in 1980 in response to a job posting in The New York Times. After Obama’s administration ended in 2017, Brennan resigned from the CIA. He had severe doubts about Trump, even referring to him as “treasonous” at one point. Brennan’s actions, according to Trump, were “whimsical,” and he denied any wrongdoing. In August 2018, he rejected Brennan’s unique status.
