After a playoff upset, New York Giants savagely insult the Minnesota Vikings on Twitter.

The New York Giants stunned the Minnesota Vikings in the playoffs… and then put salt to the wound on Twitter.

Daniel Jones led his squad to a 31-24 victory by going 24-for-35 for 301 yards and two touchdowns. The Giants only punted once all night, and while the Vikings tied things up early in the fourth quarter, a five-minute touchdown run by Saquon Barkley proved decisive.

TheVikings had an opportunity to tie late in the fourth quarter, but Kirk Cousins threw incomplete on fourth and eight, and the Giants held on.

In response to a Vikings tweet celebrating their wins over the Giants, New York Jets, and Buffalo Bills this season by calling themselves “New York’s Favorite Team,” the Giants’ Twitter account went very hard on Minnesota after the game, repurposing their opponents’ “Skol Vikings” chant in brutal fashion.
