Early Years and Education
Chicago is where Ben Bradley was born and raised. He graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 1993. At the University of Missouri, Columbia, he began studying for a Bachelor of Broadcast Journalism in the same year, and he eventually earned it in 1997.
While still in college, he began working as a reporter and weather anchor at Columbia’s KOMU-TV. Later, for a brief while in 1997, he worked as a reporter and morning weather anchor at WCBD-TB in Charleston, South Carolina.

Bradley began working as an anchor and reporter for CLTV News in the Greater Chicago Area in 1997 and remained there for more than five years, finishing up in 2002.
He then began working as a reporter and weekend morning anchor at the ABC affiliate WLS-TV ABC 7 News in 2002. He held that role for 14 years, until 2016, and then started working for WGN-TV in 2017.
