Previously, on May 25, 2003, she married fashion designer Todd Thompson. Before their wedding, the couple dated for a long time. De Laurentiis was only 19 years old when she began dating Thompson.

The couple has one daughter named Jade Marie De Laurentiis-Thompson, who was born on March 29, 2008. The couple’s relationship became too much for them to handle, and they called it quits in 2014.

De Laurentiis announced her separation on Facebook, writing,

“Todd and I have decided to divorce after an amicable separation since July. Although we are saddened by our decision to separate, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family’s happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths.”
