Despite being on the police radar for minor offences, the culprit and victim appear to have had no previous interaction or relationship. Responding quickly to the provocative act, law enforcement authorities used a Taser to subdue Fineanganofo at the crime site.

He was arrested and held on charges relating to the paramedic’s tragic death. The precise circumstances and underlying causes of this heinous occurrence are unknown.

Mental Health of Jordan Fineanganofo – Is he suffering from psychosis?

Fineanganofo is suspected of fatally stabbing paramedic Steven Tougher in the parking lot of a McDonald’s in southwest Sydney. He is currently receiving therapy at a hospital for serious mental health difficulties.

Javid Faiz, his lawyer, told the media that he is being evaluated and has been diagnosed with psychosis. He is currently being held at Long Bay Hospital under police observation.

Tougher was taking a dinner break at a Campbelltown McDonald’s after finishing a night shift when he was approached by the person thought to be his attacker.

Authorities claim that Fineanganofo forced open the emergency vehicle’s rear doors and repeatedly stabbed the paramedic. Tougher was transported to Liverpool Hospital in critical condition after the incident, but he unfortunately died from his injuries later that day.

Jordan is charged with the murder of 29-year-old Steven Tougher. Due to his mental health condition, he is currently receiving medical treatment in a hospital under the watchful eye of the authorities.

This information was revealed by the Daily Mail Australia. Although he was admitted to the Macarthur Youth Community Mental Health Facility in Campbelltown, a suburb southwest of Sydney, in August 2021.

Fineanganofo did not appear in the Parramatta Bail Court in April as scheduled. He was absent because he was receiving a psychiatric evaluation after being accused with the murder of paramedic Steven Tougher.

According to the court proceedings, the police were seeking an immediate court order to undertake a forensic process on the Raby resident in order to preserve any relevant evidence.

He is scheduled to appear in court again on July 12, where more legal processes in his case will be held.

Jordan, the alleged perpetrator of a heinous and vicious attack, will be held on remand. At approximately 5.30 a.m., Steven Tougher, a committed paramedic, was nearing the end of his shift and taking a meal break in the rear of his truck at a fast food restaurant car park on Queen Street in Campbelltown.

Tougher was subjected to a terrible assault, suffering 50 stab wounds. He was transported to Liverpool Hospital in severe condition, but he died there.

He has also subsequently been detained and legally charged with murder. Also he has already spent over ten weeks in police custody. He will be detained in jail for an additional two weeks until his next court date.
