Non-League
Prior to signing a contract in March 2000, Marvin Morgan played for the Wealdstone youth squad. He also spent two loan stints at Berkhamsted Town, where he made a total of eight appearances. He paid £3,000 to join Yeading in November 2004. Yeading won the Isthmian League Premier Division that year thanks to his eight league goals. He led Yeading in scoring with 25 goals during the 2006–2007 campaign. He joined Conference National team Woking in May 2007 and appeared in 94 league games over three seasons with the club, scoring 39 goals while doing so.
Football League
Marvin made his Football League debut in Aldershot Town’s first-ever Football League game, away to Accrington Stanley on August 9, 2008, after signing for the Conference National champions and recently promoted League Two club for an undisclosed amount in May 2008.
In the first round of the 2008–2009 season, he scored Aldershot Town’s first League Cup goal in a 3–1 loss against Coventry City. On August 30, 2008, he also scored his first Football League goal at home against Bradford City. He scored seven goals in all competitions during his final season with the Shots in 2008-2009. Shrewsbury Town
After being released from Aldershot, Marvin joined Shrewsbury Town. On August 6, 2011, he made his League Two debut against Plymouth Argyle. Morgan scored twice during Shrewsbury’s Football League Cup game against Derby County to aid his team to a 3-2 victory. He had 11 goals to help Shrewsbury Town be promoted to League 1 at the end of the 2011–2012 season, but he was let go by Shrewsbury Town after only scoring seven goals in the 2012–2013 campaign.
Plymouth Argyle
Marvin joined Plymouth Argyle in July 2013 on a two-year deal, and he made his debut against Southend United in the first match of the new campaign. On August 17, 2013, he headed home The Pilgrims’ first goal in Argyle’s 3-1 victory away at Cheltenham Town. Also, On September 20, 2014, he scored his first goal of the 2014–2015 campaign in Argyle’s 2-0 victory over Hartlepool United. On November 8, 2014, he doubled his total from the entire previous campaign by scoring Argyle’s second goal in the team’s 2-0 FA Cup first-round victory over AFC Fylde. At the completion of the 2014–2015 season, Plymouth Argyle later released him.
Hartlepool United (loan)
On February 2, 2015, Morgan agreed to a loan agreement with Hartlepool United that would last through the conclusion of the current campaign. He appeared in 5 games for the Pools, scoring just once, in a 1-0 home victory over Northampton Town on February 10, 2015.
Return to non-League
Marvin returned to non-League football in June 2015 when he signed with Havant & Waterlooville of the National League South. In February 2016, he returned to his former team Wealdstone on loan. On June 20, 2018, he signed with Hendon. His departure from the team came as a result of an incident involving a machete and fellow player Laste Dombaxe on October 25, 2018. He also played for Potters Bar Town and Beaconsfield Town. He played for Wingate & Finchley and Hornchurch the following season before going back to Potters Bar.
