They made history by landing a throw triple Lutz jump in a global competition at the 2005 World Junior Figure Skating Championships. They ended their partnership in 2006. She missed four months of ice time due to a stress fracture. Due to an injury, she withdrew from both of her Grand Prix competitions.

It was her final time competing as a singles skater when she participated in the 2007 Canadian Championships, where she finished sixth. She joined forces with Craig Buntin in 2007. The couple earned the bronze medal in the Canadian Nationals after a year. On their side-by-side salchow jumps in 2008, she unintentionally sliced Buntin’s hand a minute into the routine, causing blood to drip onto the ice. The two stopped to get his hand bandaged before continuing the routine to earn the bronze medal. She thought about retiring in 2010, but she quickly decided to keep competing. She partnered with Eric Radford in 2011. They qualified for both the 2011 World Championships and the 2011 Four Continents Championships after winning a silver medal at the 2011 Canadian Championships.

At their Grand Prix competitions, Skate Canada International, and Trophée Eric Bompard in 2012, they took home silver medals. Then they won their first Four Continents title as well as their second national championship. They made Olympic history in 2014 when they accomplished a side-by-side triple Lutz, making them the first pair team to do it ever. At the Canadian Championships in 2016, they earned their fifth consecutive national championship. Due to her illness, they withdrew from the 2016 Four Continents Championships in Taipei. They finished second to Sui/Han in 2017’s Four Continents Championships, winning the silver medal. The couple placed seventh in the 2017 World Championships competition the same year.
