Their marriage took place sooner than expected due to health concerns for both of them. Rosie died of a heart attack, and Rounds was diagnosed with desmoid tumors, an uncommon condition. The two originally met in early 2011 at a Starbucks and began dating almost immediately.

On September 11, 2017, Rounds was discovered dead at her home in Florida. She was located at 7:07 a.m. on September 11th, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Her death was deemed a suicide, with amitriptyline, clonazepam, and quetiapine intoxication as the reasons of death.
