Judge Upadhyaa left Venable during his tenure as a District Judge on this Court to take a position as the first legal clerk for the Honorable Robert L. Wilkins, who is currently a U.S. Circuit Judge for the D.C. Circuit. Judge Upadhya returned to Venable and continued her legal practice until her election to the court following her clerkship with Judge Wilkins.
