Shakira releases a new song produced by Bizarrap.
Shakira is doing better following a recent separation. That’s what the Colombian singer says in her new song, “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” which she collaborated on with Argentine producer Bizarrap.
The Grammy-winning singer starts the song by claiming she doesn’t want to be disappointed again and goes on to say, “women don’t cry anymore, they bill,” referring to female empowerment following a breakup.

In a sequence of puns, Shakira appears to be referring to her ex, former football player Gerard Piqué.
“I just have music,” the singer adds in Spanish, “perdón que te sal-pique” (I only make music, sorry that it splashes you).
Shakira and Piqué’s 12-year relationship ended last year. Sasha and Milan are the couple’s two children.
In less than 24 hours, the song has received over 34 million views on YouTube.

This isn’t Shakira’s first hit since her divorce. She released “Monotona” feat. Ozuna in October of last year, in which she publicly talked about the breakdown of a romance.
According to Shakira’s company, Sony Music Latin, “Monotona“ was the most popular Spanish-language female solo debut on YouTube.
Shakira spoke to Elle Magazine in September about how music helps her deal with her emotions.
“I believe that everyone has their own procedures or mechanisms for dealing with sorrow, stress, or worry. We all go through difficult times in our lives. “However, in my situation, I suppose composing music is like going to the shrink, except cheaper,” the Colombian singer explained.
