Stephen Curry said: He would like to play for Team USA in 2024 Olympics.

Warriors star Stephen Curry declares his intention to compete for Team USA in the 2024 Olympics.

Eight-time All-Star, eight-time All-NBA selection, two-time scoring champion, one-time Finals MVP, two-time regular-season MVP, and four-time NBA champion. Stephen Curry has done it all in the NBA during his illustrious career with the Golden State Warriors. The only thing missing from his trophy case is an Olympic gold medal.

Where will be the next NBA Olympics?

Curry may finally get her shot at the elusive medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France. The GOAT shooter’s willingness to join Team USA for the upcoming tournament has generated a lot of buzz, and at this point, Curry has made his true feelings about it abundantly clear:

“I’m more than excited about the opportunity,” Curry said, according to NBA insider Marc Stein. “Knowing that Coach Kerr is in charge and… I was a member of both world championship teams, and anyone who has experienced both will tell you that the Olympics are vastly different. They all say it’s not even close in terms of vibe, atmosphere, buildup, adrenaline, and all that. I’m not sure what the chances are because you never know what will happen, but I would definitely like to have that experience at some point.”

As Steph mentioned, the fact that Steve Ker will be the head coach of Team USA for the Olympics influenced Curry’s decision to join the squad. It’s not official yet, but you can bet that coach Kerr will include his superstar in the starting lineup. Why wouldn’t he, after all?

Curry has yet to compete in the Olympics, but he will almost certainly do so next summer. Let’s just hope he doesn’t get hurt at that time because that appears to be the only thing standing in the way of Steph leading the charge for Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games.
