The final trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 contains violent scenes.

The last teaser trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 has finally been released, and it appears to feature a greater number of horses than we had anticipated.

The third installment of the John Wick series featured horses, right? The image of Keanu Reeves riding into battle on a black stallion has been seared into the public consciousness as the defining moment of the third film ever since the action movie threequel saw our protagonist persuade his equine friend to repeatedly kick goons in the noggin. This image has become ingrained in the zeitgeist as a result.

It would appear that Lionsgate agrees, since the most recent trailer for John Wick 4 shows everyone’s favorite assassin putting his equestrian muscles through a little bit more of a workout than usual. This time, we’re in a desert. Watch the promotional video down below:

Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick, who have all appeared in previous episodes of the series, all reprise their roles as Keanu’s accomplices in gentlemanly murder crime. At the same time, Bill Skarsgard gives his French accent a try as the wicked Marquis de Gramont.

It would appear that John needs to fight the Marquis de Gramont in single combat as part of his never-ending mission to end his need to defeat individuals in single combat. There is also an image of the Eiffel Tower included, in case you were wondering where we are.

Add to that the customary deft gunplay, a scene in which goons are stabbed in the throat, and a string of consecutive traffic accidents that would make the AA shake in their shoes, and you have the formula for what is unmistakably a John Wick movie.
