Yuzvendra Chahal signed with the Mumbai Indians in 2011, where he played in all of the 2011 Champions League Twenty20 matches but only saw action in one IPL game during the course of three seasons, a match against the Kolkata Knight Riders on April 24.

He also holds the record for the finest legspin bowling performance in T20I history (6/25), becoming the first legspinner to take a fifer and six wickets in a T20I.
