Austin Butler has just reacted to Kaia Gerber’s ex Jacob Elordi’s Elvis impersonation.
Austin Butler proudly hands the Elvis Torch to Jacob Elordi after winning his first Golden Globe. The Elvis actor revealed that his current fiancée Kaia Gerber ex-boyfriend Jacob Elordi will be the next person to play The King.
“I just wish him the best,” Butler told Variety on the Golden Globes red carpet. “We haven’t spoken, but I wish him the best.” Butler won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama for his depiction of Elvis Presley in Baz Lurhmann’s Elvis.
In Priscilla, Elordi will play Elvis Presley. Though The Carrie Diaries star did not accompany his girlfriend to the red carpet or the awards ceremony, Gerber was seen at an afterparty kissing her lover on the cheek in celebration of his triumph.

Kaia Gerber began dating Austin Butler in December 2021, a month after splitting from the Euphoria star. The couple was originally linked when they were seen attending a yoga session together. Meanwhile, Elordi has moved on with Olivia Jade after they met for coffee the same month.

Butler was coy about his relationship with Gerber in a GQ feature. “I don’t think there’s anything I want to discuss about it,” he said when questioned about the paparazzi conjecture about their connection. But thank you for making the room available.”
In November 2021, news of Elordi and Gerber’s divorce broke. “They divorced amicably,” a source told E! News at the time. According to a source at the time, Elordi and Gerber split up due to their “conflicted” schedules. “Their schedules clashed, and they didn’t spend much time together.
