On Thursday, the TV host and model announced the birth of their daughter, Halo Marie Cannon, through Instagram. The child was born on December 14, about a year after Cannon and Scott’s 5-month-old son, Zen, died of brain cancer.

“Our lives have been forever changed,” Scott posted on Instagram on Thursday. “Every breath I take contains Zen. I know his spirit was present in the room with us that morning. He shows me signs every day that he is keeping an eye on us. I shall cherish this moment for the rest of my life.”

Scott also shared a video of her and Cannon holding their newborn daughter for the first time in the hospital, right after she gave birth. Cannon smiles and cradles the child in his arms before passing her to her mother in the video.

I’ll remember Nick’s voice saying ‘it’s a girl,’ and the expression of everything we’ve gone through flash across his face,” Scott said in the caption.

“I’ll remember hearing her cry out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I received my surprise!! Halo Marie Cannon, we adore you!”

Halo Marie is Cannon’s fifth child born this year. Six weeks ago, the “Masked Singer” host and DJ Abby De La Rosa welcomed daughter Beautiful Zeppelin. Rise Messiah, his son with model Brittany Bell, was born ten weeks ago. He welcomed daughter Onyx Ice Cole with former “The Price Is Right” model LaNisha Cole three months ago. He also welcomed son Legendary Love with model Bre Tiesi five months ago.

Cannon is also the father of Golden (5) and Powerful Queen (2) with Bell, as well as twins Zillion Heir and Zion Mixolydian (1) with De La Rosa and Moroccan and Monroe (11) with his ex-wife, singer Mariah Carey.

Cannon posted on Instagram earlier this month that he was “physically… on the mend” after being hospitalized with pneumonia — but that he was “mentally and spiritually… crushed” while mourning baby Zen on the child’s death anniversary.

“I can’t believe it’s been a year since the most difficult day of my life,” he wrote. “Losing a child has to be the heaviest, most dismal and depressive events that I will never get over. Every day, I repress a mixture of shame, sadness, and sorrow.

“I am far from perfect and frequently fall short and make decisions in my life that people question, but everyone who knows me knows my heart. I love hard, I love big, and I love with all of my Heart and Soul, and I wish my Little Man could have felt more of that love while he was here on Earth.”
